Hello Crafters!

I hope everyone got off to a great start this week.  I am not too fond of Mondays but today has been pretty good so far.

Date Night with hubby was GREAT on Sat night.  We went to dinner and a movie.  We ended up seeing Wallstreet 2 and we really liked it!  I would recommend seeing the first Wallstreet movie before going to see the second.  Hubby and I rented the first one the night before, even though we had seen it many years ago, it refreshed our memories as what the background of the characters were.  We then had sushi for dinner and it was fantastic!!!  Great Weekend!

Ok, on to todays project... I had this template on my hard drive (don't know where I got it).  But I ran across it and thought it would make a fantastic card.  So I made it into a cut file.  So if any of you would like this file let me know and I will send it to you.  All I ask is that you sign up as a follower to my blog and I will happily email you the cut file.

I used Stampin Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and punched it out with the Window Word Punch then used dimensionals to adhere the sentiment.

Enjoy your week!

Date Night and Spider Tags!

Ok, so today my husband and I are finally going out on date night since we moved here at the beginning of Aug.  It seems like there is always something going on in this house or with the kids or with his work schedule.  So we are finally going out to enjoy a nice relaxing evening, with no screaming kids and no eating at 100 mph because the kids are going to meltdown.  I can't wait!  Sushi!

Moving on to todays project, which was so much fun to make!

I love these spider tags!!!  I used a large circle punch for the base, scallop punch, circle punch for the body and for the legs I used corner punches.  I then added googly eyes and an small orange circle punch  for the nose (used my crop a dile for that one).  I punched a hole on top and added ribbon.  Now how easy was that?  Now you can add it to gift bags or treat bags and you are all set for trick or treating!

This is Wicked Cool!

Thank goodness it has stopped raining here!  It has been raining non stop for the last 4 days.  There has been so much flooding that they cancelled school tomorrow for all the kids around here.  I am hoping this weekend is a little more pleasant.

So ok, I got to tell you I am really loving the Wicked Cool stamp Set!  I love the whole witches hat and boots.  So for my first Halloween Card for this year I used the New Stampin Up! Wicked Cool Halloween Stamp Set.  I colored in the the witches stockings with green and orange to give it a little color and added a little black stickles for shimmer on the boots ties and center of hat.
