Hosting a Workshop

What does hosting a workshop mean? To host a workshop is where you invite friends, family, neighbors, etc over to your house for what is more or less a stamping party. I teach a few stamping techniques prepare some make and take projects for everyone to do and if they place some orders, the hostess (you) receives free products. It is a lot of fun! And for booking a workshop with me the hostess gets to choose a free set of stamps from my retired stamps treasure box. Free stuff right from the beginning! If you would rather host a workshop in a different location other than your house that is fine with me. You choose where you would like to have it. Do you feel like being creative? Contact me and book a workshop! I promise you will have LOTS of FUN!!!

Sylvia

Baby Cards

I have a five month old and so everytime I look at her I want to do baby projects. So I made 2 baby cards I wanted to share with you.

This first card is a Hybrid Card (Traditional and Digital Items used together). I used the Nursery Necessities stamp set (#113506 pg. 76) and Bashful Blue Ink. I also used the Whisper White cardstock (#100730 pg. 155), Bashful Blue cardstock (#105120 pg. 157), So Saffron cardstock (#105118 pg. 157) and MDS DSP Digital Scrapbook Striped Paper in So Saffron (DSP Digital Striped Paper in all colors (#118862). I printed the digital paper and used it as regular cardstock. I also used the word window punch. Simple Design but Oh So Cute!

I love this second card. I can't take credit for it. I wish I knew who came up with it because it is genious. I used the Nursery Necessities stamp set again, Pretty In Pink cardstock (#100459 pg. 157), Whisper White cardstock, Chocolate Chip cardstock (# 102128 pg. 156), I also used the 1 3/8 circle punch along with the scallop circle punch, and the 1 1/4 circle punch. And by the way I love this color comob (Pink and Brown)! These are my little Sophia's Nursery Colors!

Hope to post some more things soon!

Finally Something New!

Ok, Ok, so I know it has been a while since I posted something new. Well, I have been working on a couple of things including getting ready for a workshop I will be doing this weekend but I did manage to finish a couple of things for the blog. So here you go.

First up is this cutie patootie bookmark. I really really like how this turned out. I love this die (Item # 114520 Flower, Daisies #2). I used Pretty in Pink Cardstock, 4 Inch Paper Clip and I made my own button out of fabric and button covers. How cool is that!

Next up is this fun Halloween Card. I used the Top Note Die #113463, Scallop Oval Punch (#114889) and Large Oval Punch (#107305), Horizontal Slot (#105089), along with a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (#115370).

More projects to post soon, stay tuned!

Blessings,

Sylvia
