Finally Something New!

Ok, Ok, so I know it has been a while since I posted something new. Well, I have been working on a couple of things including getting ready for a workshop I will be doing this weekend but I did manage to finish a couple of things for the blog. So here you go.



First up is this cutie patootie bookmark. I really really like how this turned out. I love this die (Item # 114520 Flower, Daisies #2). I used Pretty in Pink Cardstock, 4 Inch Paper Clip and I made my own button out of fabric and button covers. How cool is that!

Next up is this fun Halloween Card. I used the Top Note Die #113463, Scallop Oval Punch (#114889) and Large Oval Punch (#107305), Horizontal Slot (#105089), along with a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (#115370).

Card For Troops Success!

The Cards for Troops Event that was held on Oct 10th was a success! The lovely ladies of Parris Island and the Beaufort Area created these amazing cards to send over to our troops for the holiday season. I just want to give them a BIG THANK YOU! You are all amazing! Here is picture of the beautiful cards they made. We completed 133 cards in 3 hours.

Strawberry Magnet

Here is another project I was working on. I made some of these for my friends. A quick and easy project.




Strawberry Magnet

Supplies:

Cardstock: SU Real Red and Whisper White
Punches: SU Scallop and 1 3/8 Circle Punches
Inks: SU Real Red, Green
Stamps: SU Tart and Tangy
Other: Round Magnets

Instructions:
Punch scallop circle with real red cardstock
Punch 1 3/8 circle with whisper white cardstock
Stamp Strawberry on 1 3/8 white punched circle using real red ink
Stamp Strawberry on scrap white whisper white cardstock using green ink, then cut out stem and adhere it to the real red stamped strawberry
Adhere fully assembled strawberry punched circle to red scallop circle with dimensional pop up
Adhere round magnet to back of red scallop circle.

Ta Da! You now have yourself a magnet to place on your fridge or magnet memo board!

Frankie Card

I have been working on a few things this past week, so I wanted to share. Here is the Frankie Card.



Frankie Card

Supplies:
Cardstock: Green, Whisper White, and Black Cardstock

Punches: SU - 1 3/8 punch, 3/4 Punch, Tab Punch

Marker/Ink: Black

Stamps: SU -Teeny Tiny Wishes

Instructions:
Hair - Cut black cardstock freehand
Eyes Lids- Punch one circle with 1 3/8 circle punch out of green cardstock, then cut in half
Eyes - Punch two circles with 1 3/8 circle punch out of white whisper cardstock
Eyeballs - Punch 2 circles with 3/4 circle punch out of black cardstock then with white pen mark accents.
Nose - Punch with tab punch out of green cardstock

Layer black eyeballs over white eyes
Layer green half circles over top of white eyes with dimensional pop ups
Adhere full assembled eyes in middle of card with dimensional pop ups
Tuck tab nose under the middle of the two eyes, adhere tab nose with dimensional pop up
Draw scar and mouth with black marker freehand
